The rooms are simply decorated and in good condition. One of the features highlighted by the hotel is the very good views from many of the rooms. All rooms in the hotel are non smoking areas. Both Standard Room and Standard Room Lake View can accommodate 3 persons - X1 Double and X1 Single Bed. Breakfast and dinner served in the restaurant is mainly New Zealand dishes. The restaurant benefits from having excellent views over the lake and mountains. The hotel is spread out in a number of blocks of rooms all linked together by outside covered walkways. As it is only two storeys high there is no elevators. A medium size lobby and check-in area. Goldridge Resort is located on 4.5 acres of scenic grounds, with many rooms offering panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. A short drive from the centre of the town and well suited to those who would prefer not to be in the busy central Queenstown area. Plenty of car parking so it suits the self-drive market very well.
